T.A.G's Promotional Plug

Did you know that T.A.G has a bit of an online presence outside of the blog? 
It may not be a cult-following like PewDiePie or Kim Kardashian (That comes later) but it's a start.
I try to make myself available on most forms of social media (Variety is the spice of life) especially for persons who want to shy away from the ones that don't fit their fancy. I do so because I want to be able to provide info, insight, inspiration, interaction and intelligent conversation to you my readers (My future followers and friends *suggestive wink*) at any time via your personal method of choice.

Of course there's the added benefit of being more social (Remember, the blog started as an attempt to be more open, even if it is done virtually. Baby steps, OK?!) and not remaining a pariah who sits in a corner, muttering under my breathe, laughing hysterically for no apparent reason or gesturing at the screen like... 

I am pleased to say, I have made some advances in that department (The "Being Social" Department) as small as they may be. Sometimes, when I'm at SSG (sitting in my corner), random people will say something to me or ask me a question and I don't flee in terror or pretend not to hear them (my personal methods of choice *suggestive wink*). Instead, I smile and nod in the right places or answer to the best of my ability. I'm a regular Social Butterfly. 

But seriously, my main goal is to be able to help my fellow gamers and promote the art form and the lifestyle, locally, because that's exactly what being a gamer is. It's an art form (defined as: any activity regarded as a medium of imaginative or creative self-expression) and a lifestyle (defined as: the way in which a person lives). If, by chance, my little attempt happens to become something greater then by all mean, become greater! 
Addendum - with the express purpose of ensuring my words aren't misconstrued and to prevent readers from thinking I have ulterior motives (Charlatan, I am NOT!) let me be pellucid. If I EVER become able to support my family by playing video games, making videos and writing blog posts, then that would be the BIGGEST WIN EVER but it's not the objective!!!

As of now, I mostly stream on Mixer (since it's easier and less bandwidth dependent). Also, there's only 1 video on the Twitch Channel and 1 on the YouTube Channel as well (Some random Test Videos) but plans are advancing to populate them. Equipment is available. Time, on the other hand, is not. (But don't let that stop you from subscribing to all 3 channels so you can be notified when I go live or post a video. Be one of the first members and reserve the right to be a snobby elitist and say things like "I remember when this was still an up and coming channel. When T.A.G was just a local personality. Before the fame and before all these newbs joined up") [Make sure to ONLY say it to me though so we can laugh about it privately. Don't want to deter the new viewers *suggestive wink*]

In closing, I would just like to thank my parents for making me (because they are awesome [Of course] and they made an awesome child [which is an understatement but... *shrugs*], as we all know). Then I would like to give a shout out to all the quest-givers who made me what I am today and to ALL the boss monster who tried to block me from achieving my goal. *drops mic*

This is most likely the final post from The Antiguan Gamer for the foreseeable future. It has been a blast doing this blog for (with?) you readers and I must say I have enjoyed every minute of it. I must commend you for your service and dedication to the cause and I wish you health and strength (because COVID-19), love and happiness (because LIFE) and hours and hours of videogames (because VIDEOGAMES)!
