He's Baaaaack!!!
Rested and rejuvenated, TL;DR has a new review for us. Those of you who have been clamoring for one will now have your patience rewarded. Take it away! *motions for him to start*

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier Ep. 1: Ties That Bind  Review

Telltale is back once again with its gripping, narrative driven, gaming experience. This latest installment of the walking dead series called ‘A New Frontier’ brings a fresh perspective on the lives of survivors during the zombie apocalypse. The series begins a new at the start of the zombie outbreak focusing on a new family of survivors the Garcias, who are located on the West Coast of the US. The lead character is called Javier and through his choices and interactions with his family members and other survivors you meet during the story you decide individual’s fates and shape how they feel about you and each other.

The first game was about forging family ties with strangers you meet along the way, this series starts you off in a family unit from the beginning and lets you explore the tensions and emotions that occur within the family. If you are looking for tough puzzles and highly challenging gameplay this probably isn’t the game for you. The puzzles are fairly easy and the quick time events won’t try your patience as a gamer, but if you are interested in story multiple playthroughs are required to figure out all the different possible character interactions. Your choices will also decide who lives and who dies, making each decision that more meaningful.

If you have ever played a walking dead game you will notice that having save files from the first game series will give you flashbacks and shape the personality of a returning character. This of course is the one and only clementine from the first game. Now more mature and toting a shotgun.

The game continues with the same graphic novel style and will feel very familiar to veterans of the previous games. A great addition to the series that will provide hours of entertainment.
